Absolute Sanctuary, Koh Samui, Thailand

Absolute Sanctuary was opened in 2008 with the aim of becoming one of the leading wellness and retreat centres in Asia for yoga teacher trainings, workshops and events. Located on the popular tropical island of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand and taking architectural inspiration from Morroco, the centre has thirty-eight well-appointed rooms with en-suites, accommodating up to seventy-six people in double occupancy.

Three Yoga Studios

Absolute Sanctuary has a dedicated yoga centre, boasting no less than three yoga studios: the Jungle, Pool and Ocean studios. The jungle studio has space for fifty mats, with the Pool and Ocean studios accommodating twenty-five each. The Pool and the Ocean studios can also be joined to make one large studio for fifty participants.

A world class Detox Spa

As a dedicated Wellness Centre, Absolute Sanctuary also has a world-class Detox Spa facility, staffed by nurses and detox therapists and equipped with six colon hydrotherapy rooms. Their Spa Centre features outdoor Thai massage Salas as well as indoor treatment rooms. For those that like to sweat out their toxins, there is a steam and far infrared sauna, and to cool off after you can plunge into the stunning twenty by ten metre infinity pool.

The Love Kitchen

Of course caring for the body starts from within, and at Absolute Sanctuary you are in for a mouth watering and soul-nourishing treat at the Love Kitchen. Using hand picked local organic produce wherever possible, the Love Kitchen creates light and fresh meals that focus on the inherent natural flavours of the key ingredients with every dish meeting a variety of dietary and/or nutritional goals.

Location

Set into a hilltop overlooking the long white stretch of Chaweng Beach, Absolute Sanctuary runs a shuttle bus throughout the day to Chaweng and Cheong Mon beaches, so if you feel you need to mingle with hustle and bustle of the world outside of this oasis of tranquility, you can.
