Sri Vijay Anand

Sri Vijay Anand is an eminent Kaya Kalp Yogi from a traditional Vedic family in India and is a living legend of Kaya Kalp Yoga. He is the founder and teacher at Kaya Kalp Yoga, a studio set amongst the luscious gardens of Budapest’s 2nd District, on the Buda side of the Danube, just five minutes walks from the Moskva Square metro station (red line).

The studio has a regular class schedule, and also offers regular workshops and teacher trainings. Yoga instruction is given in English, although yoga master Sri Vijay Anand speaks a number of other European and Indian languages. Kaya Kalp Yoga is the centre of a strong community, made up of Hungarian locals and expats and enriched by the visits of travelling yogis, musicians and spiritual teachers.

Emotional Technology and Vedic science

Anand explains that the sacred science of emotional technology is revealed in all societies and cultures through rishis (Indian spiritual masters) and saints and is well documented in Vedic texts. Studying the science of emotional technology helps students understand the dynamic link between the inner-self and the outer-self, which is essential for the promotion of peace, natural harmony and perfect equilibrium in all spheres of life.

Actively practising and promoting Kaya Kalp Yoga and Vedic heritage knowledge systems in more than fifty countries across the globe, Sri Vijay Anand – spiritual master, scientist, philosopher, thinker, and social activist – has helped and guided thousands of people around the world to live in peace and harmony.

Besides promoting global health and peace, Sri Vijay Anand is working on the concept of setting up a Vedic Heritage Ashram in the European Union to grow and study medicinal plants and to promote further study of information technology, biotechnology and the inter-connectedness of these modern sciences with the ancient Indian Vedic knowledge based systems of ayurveda, yoga, vastu and astrology.
